Oasis in Australia: Melbourne and Sydney Tour Recap

Sixteen years after their last Australian appearance, Oasis are back and doing it big. The Live ’25 tour brings the Gallagher brothers back to stadiums in Melbourne and Sydney with a lineup that casts a long shadow across Britpop and stadium rock.

This leg comes after their Asia dates and sees the band determine to stop speaking about “what could’ve been” and start living what still is.

Pop-Ups, collabs & fan culture

Ahead of the shows, Oasis have launched two official Live ’25 Fan Stores: Melbourne Central on October 28, and Westfield Sydney on October 31. Inside: exclusive tour-edition vinyl, menswear, kidswear and the highly anticipated adidas Originals × Oasis collection, the first time the collab appears in Australia.

Limited leg-entry bookings recommended due to expected queues. The stores aren’t just retail spaces: they’re pre-show experiences, designed to deepen the band-fan connection in a way few reunion tours attempt.

Stadium shows & support act

Oasis will hit Marvel Stadium, Melbourne on Oct 31, Nov 1 and Nov 4, and make their way to Accor Stadium, Sydney on Nov 7 and Nov 8.Supporting them on all Aussie dates will be Brisbane indie rockers Ball Park Music.

For Australian fans this mix bridges British rock heritage and local talent, a signal that the tour isn’t just about nostalgia, but about a continuum of rock culture.

Fan reaction & ticket landscape

Australia’s leg was previously sold out,but in July additional production-hold tickets were released to meet demand. Social channels are already lighting up with travel plans, merch shouts and group chats. One Reddit user posted:

“Melbourne pilot seat secured, got that adidas drop first thing.”
That kind of excitement, grounded in both music and fashion-culture, amps the expectation beyond the music alone.

What to expect on stage

If the band’s recent shows are any guide, expect a set rooted in their first two albums and framed by classics, “Hello,” “Wonderwall,” “Supersonic,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger”, delivered with the force of a band firmly back in sync.

The stadium platforms, lighting rigs and huge screens will add visual depth, while the recent Seoul date shows how the band treats these shows as full-scale events, not simply greatest-hits karaoke.

Cultural relevance & legacy

What stands out about this tour leg is how it connects eras and continents. Oasis were part of the Britpop wave that inspired a generation in Australia; now they return with a production matched to stadium-scale. The Fan Stores and adidas collab ground the music in fashion and material culture, turning the weekend into a full immersion for Gen Z and long-time fans alike.

Tickets, travel & must-know

All shows are listed on our Tickets Atlas platform with complete details, and though many dates had sold out, some extras remain through official holds.

Venue notes:Marvel and Accor are stadiums with strong transport links, but arrive early, expect long merch queues and book accommodation now if travelling. Melbourne’s Fan Store opens Oct 28, Sydney’s Oct 31, don’t miss the early drop.

Oasis Tour Australia Leg

This tour leg reminds us why Oasis exist beyond the ’90s. It shows both persistence and evolution, reconnecting with past hits, but embracing live-culture cues of today (collector merch, pop-up experiences, local sounds). For Australia, it’s as much about what the band leaves behind as what they bring. As one fan put it:

“Marshalling the hoodie drop and those riffs in one weekend, this is why we came.”
