Noel Gallagher appears in the final season of Chicken Shop Date. Host Amelia Dimoldenberg confirmed him as a guest for an upcoming episode. The episode became available on Friday 23 October 2026 on Netflix and YouTube.
The appearance marks Noel Gallagher’s first time on the show. It also lands at a busy moment for Oasis fans. Oasis Live ’27 has already sold out, and the tour starts in May 2027.
How the appearance was announced
Dimoldenberg shared the news on social media with a photo of the pair together. Her caption read: “Definitely, maybe Noel Gallagher on Chicken Shop Date.” The caption nods to the Oasis album Definitely Maybe.
NME reported the announcement on 22 October 2026. Paste also reported the episode date as Friday 23 October 2026. Both reports agree that the episode went out on Netflix and YouTube.
The show frames each meeting as a date in a chicken shop. Dimoldenberg interviews each guest across a table, in a casual setting. That format has made the series a long running interview hit.
Why the final season matters
Dimoldenberg announced last month that she would end Chicken Shop Date. She started the series as a teenager and turned it into a filmed series on YouTube in 2014. The show has run for more than a decade.
Past guests have included Dave, Billie Eilish, Central Cee, Andrew Garfield, Cher, Little Simz, Louis Theroux, Jack Harlow and Paul McCartney. Noel Gallagher joins that list in the final season. His slot gives Oasis fans a rare non tour interview to watch.
Dimoldenberg said she had spent her entire 20s sat across from people she had always dreamt of meeting. She called the show her very own romcom. She also said she felt it was now time to move on to the next adventure.
For fans, the final season context matters. A guest slot in a closing season carries more weight than a routine promo stop. It places Noel Gallagher among the last guests Dimoldenberg chose for the series.
What it means before Live ’27
The appearance does not change any Live ’27 fact. It does not add a date, change a venue or name a new support act. Fans should not read a TV booking as a tour announcement.
What it does offer is timing. Oasis Live ’27 tickets sold out in the September 2026 ballot.
The tour runs for 42 shows from 21 May to 26 September 2027. Fans now wait for resale news and for the tour itself.
NME reports that Noel Gallagher has promised the Live ’27 shows will be so much better than the 2025 reunion tour. NME also reports that he said the band will be way more relaxed second time around. Those promises set a high bar for the 2027 run.
Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are the only members confirmed by name for Live ’27. Richard Ashcroft is the special guest at every date. No other support act has been confirmed.
Oasis added four Live ’27 shows in September 2026 after strong demand. Manchester hosts 11 nights at the Etihad Stadium in June 2027. Knebworth hosts six nights in September 2027.
How to watch
Fans can watch the episode on Netflix and YouTube. Both platforms carried the episode from 23 October 2026. Check the Chicken Shop Date channel for the full episode.
Watch for the interview itself, not for tour news. A chat show guest slot rarely breaks tour details. The value lies in Noel Gallagher’s own words and in the final season setting.
Fans who want tour facts should stick to confirmed tour sources. The tour dates, the ballot result and the support lineup all stand apart from TV appearances. Keep those facts separate from interview chat.
